Why Bangladesh does not qualify for the World Cup Football
yet?
Before the liberation war of Bangladesh,
Bangladesh national football team was known as a part of Pakistan National
Football Team. So Bangladesh started participating in different football
championships in aspects of both national and international level when
Bangladesh got the independence from Pakistan in 1971. Bangladesh National
Football Federation was founded in 1972. Then it became the member of FIFA in
1976. The history of Bangladesh football team is not much ancient like European
or South American football teams. But it has also a mature age to qualify in
the fields of World Football. There are lots of reasons associated behind why
Bangladesh does not qualify for the football world cup. Some are nurtured underneath;
The lack of organizing domestic or
international football matches is one of the major problems which are responsible
for not to qualify in world cup football matches. The Football Federation of
Bangladesh could not able to organize the domestic or international matches in
the right time efficiently. Again Bangladesh is not a financially sound country
so it could not support it's football team financially well. Bangladesh
football federation is corrupted day by day and sometimes it is also associated
with different politics towards the football team which is affecting the
development of Bangladesh football.

On the other hand, the weather condition
of the whole sub continent area is not friendly at all for football game. The
summer stays much of the time in a year which directly impacts over the
footballers as they are unable to cop up with practices and other training and
camps. This is a reason why any of the football team from sub continent area is
not qualifying for the world cup football yet.
Then, Bangladesh government is not much
concern about to organize the school or college level championship. There are
so many boys and girls with great football talent living in the village and
small town of Bangladesh. But the government of Bangladesh is not much
conscious about to deliver some encouragement to the football game in remote
area. So the talented footballers from remote area could not cross the verge of
develop football. The games and sports ministry of Bangladesh should also come
forward to support the village football.
Bangladesh Football Federation (BAFUFE)
could not afford much skilled and experienced coaches like developed countries.
Because the financial condition of Bangladesh is not much stable comparing with
the developed European countries. So the Government of Bangladesh could not
able to finance the Football Federation in order to hire the well experienced prominent
coaches to give training to the national level footballers effectively.

Though Bangladesh is not being qualifying
in world cup yet but it has some tremendous achievements in the earth of
football. Bangladesh Football Team became the champion in SAFF Championship in
2003, Presidents Gold Cup in 1989. Bangladesh wins gold medal in the field of
football in 1999 and 2010. Bangladesh Football Team achieved Runner Up position
in Bangabandhu Gold Cup final in February 2015.

In the end, Bangladesh has qualified for
the world cup qualifying round directly. Australia, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan and
Tajikistan will compete with Bangladesh. Hope Bangladesh will qualify for the
world cup football very soon. The day is not so far when the people will cheer
with the football team of Bangladesh.
